Visit Types
|
Well Care |
Focusing on prevention, these visits include monitoring of height, weight, and developmental growth. There are also regularly scheduled vaccines and lab tests that will be done at these visits. In addition, anticipatory guidance is given to elements of the child's future development, with an eye on safety concerns, as well. |
Sick Visits |
These can include fever, ear-ache, cough and cold as well as the many other complaints that an ill child may have. Lab services available include in-office rapid-strep tests, urinalysis, and influenza testing. If blood-work or radiology services are needed, these can be ordered through the facility that participates with your insurance (such as LabCorp, Quest, Suburban Hospital Radiology, and Shady Grove Radiology.) Prescriptions can be filled electronically through your preferred pharmacy. |
Vaccine Visits |
Vaccine appointments may be scheduled as a drive-up visit. Injectable flu vaccine and Flumist are available for the 2021-2022 flu season from September through January or while supplies last. |
Dr. Hall also welcomes expecting parents to make a "get-to-know-you" prenatal visit, free of charge.
